Fire Station Construction Update

Fire station construction continues. The new building is located at 6911 Gilmore Road between State Route 129 and Hamilton Mason Road.
At this time the block and roof are installed so that interior work can continue through the winter season. The bay concrete has been poured and will eventually be polished. Painting and drywall are moving forward and the brickwork for the new station LED sign is complete.
Contractors have finished the roof installation and concrete floors have been poured. Rooms have been "roughed out" so that the floor plan can be seen.
We will continue to post pictures on our Facebook page and our website of the progress. The scheduled project completion date is the end of April 2019.
