Paving and Road Updates
Paving
Fairfield Township and Butler County Engineer's Office are pleased to announce that the paving project is officially complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process. All the roads will continue to be evaluated and given a grade (grading indicates condition of road). Paving is performed annually. In the past 5 years, the Board of Trustees has taken an aggressive stance as it relates to paving. Each year will vary depending on available funding.
Crack Seal
At this time, crack seal is set to begin in August or September. Typical process is for public works to seal streets paved in the prior year. The crack seal machine is shared throughout Butler County.
Curb and Gutter
Curb and gutter is typically performed before streets are paved. The amount of repair work depends on the condition of the curb and gutter, as well as the amount of paving.
For all road-related projects, we are aware that there can be delays and inconvenience. We thank the residents for their patience, but are always pleased with the end results.
